Speaker Meetings Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month from September to April, at 7.15 for 7.30 pm, Pallant Suite, 7 South Pallant, Chichester PO19 1SY. Meetings are free for members. Non-members and guests are very welcome, visitors' entrance charge £3. The format for the evenings is: 7:15: doors open. 7:30: meeting starts with Chairman's notices followed by the lecture. INTERVAL: time for a chat and enjoy some coffee or tea and biscuits. (No charge but donations welcome. Please bring your own mug). 8:30: second part of lecture 9:00 Close of meeting Please bring along a mug if you would like a tea or coffee during the inverval.
Car parking: The Cawley Priory car park and many other CDC car parks charge for parking up to 8pm. Cattle Market is free after 6pm.

Lots of exciting developments at Knepp on the wildlife response to replacing intensive farming with low level grazing, plus updates on the Storks and Beavers.,
Wednesday 4 March - Sharks, Tigers, Carpets & Kittens: The Marvellous Moths of Great Britain with guest speaker Michael Blencowe. At night some of the most beautiful creatures in Britain take to the air. Join Michael Blencowe as he shines a light into the weird and wonderful world of Britain’s moths and goes in search of elephants, tigers, kittens, hawks, carpets and sharks. Learn about the different species that can be found in your garden.
Wednesday 1 April - How profitable Farming can be good for the Environment with guest speakers Suzie Robson and a local farmer. Suzie is Farm Environment Adviser with the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG). She will be joined by a farmer from the Sidlesham Farm Cluster..Suzie will describe how FWAG provides independent environmental advice to the farming community, taking a whole-farm approach – looking at everything from soil and water to habitats and species – to find the best opportunities for conservation alongside profitable production to deliver real environmental gains. We will hear from the local farmer how this is done and what has been achieved in the Sidlesham Farm Cluster.
