If  you are interested in hearing about or observing wildlife around Chichester and South West Sussex, then Chi Nats is the Society for you. It doesn’t matter if you are just interested, know nothing about nature or if you are a world expert, we welcome you all. Our evening meetings are held in central Chichester and our members enjoy a series of fascinating free nature talks, mainly by visiting speakers, covering a range of topics such as Beavers in Sussex, Flies in the UK and The World’s Highest Flying Bird. Alongside this, we run regular field outings in the local area - it’s amazing how much we can see in our own back yard when surrounded by knowledgable companions. We also provide members with the opportunity to track bats and identify moths in their gardens. New members are always welcome and our subs are very low - Single membership £12 per annum, Joint/Family Membership £22 per annum.

Events

Field outings, small groups led by some of our experts, are arranged throughout the year to various wildlife locations in West Sussex. Lecture evenings are held regularly in Chichester over the  winter, while lunchtime sessions in a local pub allow a small group to focus on a particular aspect of nature.
